My thoughts of you,
the dreams I had,
The eyes I saw,
Each and every day.
And each and every night.
It was a trick of the hand...
It made me write those words,
Reach out for that heart,
So willingly give mine,
And now my heart is yours.
I can never get it back.
It was a trick of the tongue...
Forced me to say,
Didn't stop it quick enough,
And now its ruined all,
It's destroyed any chances.
I may have had for love.
It was a trick of the eyes...
Those tears they did shed,
Nonstop weeping,
No matter how i tried,
The pain wont go away.
As easily as you did.
