Chapter 1-Lack of Childhood Memories
Part 1
She cries as she enters this new world. It scares her, there is no warmth. Why has she been torn from her safe haven? Her sanctuary? As she lies in the arms of whom she would soon call Mother, her heart rests. Warmth once again. She knows this person. And comfort surrounds her. If only this could last forever, but for now... she does not have a care.
As a baby life holds no worries, the child is named Ebony. She grows healthy and has a rich appetite. Breast milk is not enough, she has bottles too.
The years slip by and soon she is three. The Father that she adores walks out of her life. Why? What did she do that was so wrong? Contempt fills her heart, this is the first time she has felt it. But it would not be the last...

Nobody remembers what it is like. In the womb, the journey to the world of humans. the world of hate and fear, but also love and compassion.
We rely on family and friends to keep us informed about our early years. However, every now and again, we will remember. Such innocence cannot be so easily forgotten.
